Hard Rock Cafe, Channel 97 to Host BRITISH INVASION NIGHT
PITTSBURGH, PA -- Friday, October 22, Pittsburgh-based Rolling Stones Tribute Band Jumpin’ Jack Flash will perform with Erie-based Beatles Tribute Band Abbey Road at Hard Rock Cafe located at Station Square Pittsburgh, PA. This will be the second appearance at Hard Rock Cafe for Jumpin' Jack Flash. Their debut appearance in April 2004 sold out. British Invasion Night promises to deliver some of the greatest British rock ever written. Pittsburgh's WRRK Channel 97 will co-sponsor the event.
Jumpin' Jack Flash will invade stage at 10:00 P.M. with an explosive one and a half hour set, highlighting the best of the Stones’ four-decade long discography. Abbey Road follows with two-hours of Beatles’ hymns that even a casual fan will know by heart.
"Earlier this year we discussed the possibility of doing a combined Beatles/Stones show with Abbey Road, but we never pursued the idea further," says Jumpin' Jack Flash bassist and founding member Jim Bachert. “We’re glad that Hard Rock is bringing the two bands together,” he adds.
The October show will also serve as the official unveiling of the latest lineup for Jumpin' Jack Flash, which promises to be a leaner, more authentic rendition of The Rolling Stones that will greatly improve the look and feel of a true Stones event.
BRITISH INVASION NIGHT at HARD ROCK CAFE - PITTSBURGH starts at 10 PM. Cover charge is $10 at the door or can be picked up at any upcoming Jumpin' Jack Flash or Abbey Road performance.
